DESIGN &
CONSTRUCTION
These bins are designed for strength both while static and in the portable configuration. The fully sheeted form is welded inside a strong RHS framework with internal bracing to stabilize outward pressures. The shape of the bin funnels the grain to a central point.
ROOF
Double roll tarps are standard, each rolls up to the high centre allowing complete access to the bin. Two large steel lids are an option which operate by levers from the ground.
AUGER
The 9" discharge auger is PTO driven from the front and mounted outside the rear, it inclines from the centre to the hinge at the left corner. Flow of grain can be controlled or shut off by a slide plate. The upper section of the auger is easily folded out using a lever stored on the bin, the drive couples automatically, easy clean-out is through a slide at the auger base. A rear hopper option, (without attached auger) to accept a standard portable auger, is also available.
TRANSPORT
Two hinged retractable sub frames each with leaf springs, axle and light truck wheels are lowered and pinned, this enables a superb ride. A ute or light truck is adequate for fast, smooth transport over long distances if required. A high-lift jack is provided to raise and lower the bin.
ACCESS
Ladder access is provided both outside and inside the bin. A full length catwalk is also situated in the centre of the standard bin at wall height.
